Your Casting Guide

4 Steps. One Box.

BIO-FOAM impression kit — one foot already cast, one being pressed

Prepare
Sturdy chair, hard floor. Remove shoes and socks. Place one foam block in front of you, center your foot over it.

Press & Hold
Push your foot straight down into the foam. Full body weight — don't hover. Hold for 30 seconds. Stay seated the entire time. Do not rock, shift, or move your foot in any direction — straight down only. Any side-to-side movement distorts the impression.

Check & Repeat
Lift your foot — clear impression of heel, arch, ball, toes. Not pressed to the bottom. Repeat with your other foot on the second block.

Ship It Back
Both foam blocks back in the box. Prepaid label on. Drop at any USPS mailbox. Done.

"What If I Mess Up?"

You probably won't — most people nail it on the first try. But if you're even slightly unsure, send it in anyway. Dr. Wachtel's team checks every impression before fabrication begins. If something looks off, they'll call you and ship a free replacement kit. No charge. No judgment.

Don't stand up while pressing — stay seated for consistent, controlled pressure
Don't press to the bottom — you need depth, not a pancake
Don't use wet feet — dry feet give a cleaner impression
Don't rush the hold — 30 seconds lets the foam capture the full contour
Don't move your foot sideways — once it's in the foam, straight down only. Rocking or shifting distorts the impression
